“Perfect way to start an EPIC Vacation!”

If your looking for a quiet place away from it all. I would highly recommend Shady Acres Bed and Breakfast. I truly felt at home and comfortable the moment I walked in the door! The bed was very comfortable and king size, breakfast was superb and the hospitality of Gail and Ralph was fantastic!

Gail was super helpful from the moment we called. She sought to make it very personal for us even asking what our colors were so that she could match! She was a wonderful speaker and the presentation left tears in everyone's eyes. If I had to do my ceremony over I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Everything that was advertised met and exceeded expectations

Staying at Shady Acres was a truly pleasant and relaxing experience. Everything that was advertised met and exceeded expectations. The property is beautiful, the beds couldn't be more comfortable, and the hosts were attentive and welcoming. Gayle and Ralph went out of their way to be friendly and accommodating to us during our visit. They put in extra time for planning and preparation to make our visit vegan-friendly (something we requested) and even let us meet their chickens!

Couldn't ask for better hospitality

Ralph and Gail welcomed our family into their bed and breakfast with open arms. And by family, I mean, our infant son and labordoodle dog :) They were both very friendly, their home is spotless and the sleeping accommodations were serene! They have a sleep number bed, personal heaters so you can set the temperature to your liking. Ohh and they had fresh local chocolates next to the bed as a snack. They offered us a refrigerator full of snacks, drinks etc. to make our stay even more comfortable.

Hi Gail and Ralph, and your lovely doggie (never met the cat), We just arrived home safely and feel very thankful that we found you. Staying at Shady Acres was a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The B&B has wonderful amenities, and your location is perfect. But I want to thank you for being wonderful hosts. You added so much to the experience by being so hospitable and eager to help us feel comfortable -- and relax after 600 miles already, and 200 to go. Breakfast was not only delicious -- can you do any better than fresh, free-range eggs!!!

Brief as it was, we really enjoyed our visit. Gail and Ralph are the best. Thank you for a great time (not to mention the delicious asparagus light bread). I will let you know when I can arrange a Girl trip !!! Ellen & Mike 4/27/2015

True R&R

My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary last year and it was truly R&R. Just what we needed. And, we couldn't ask for better Hostesses. Thanks Ralph and Gail for a great time! Oh, and the food is "over the top" K.W. 2/20/2015
