Me and my fiancé stayed with Ralph and Gail in early August 2013. We loved the stay! Our primary reason for the visit was to spend a couple days at Kings Dominion, which is only about 12 minutes down the road, with Shady Acres having an perfect location. If you are looking for lodging accommodations near the shopping mall or next chain restaurant, Shady Acres is not for you (the home is located at the end of a remote road) which is one of the main reasons we choose to stay there. We could not of asked for better hosts, which created a very relaxed environment. The room was clean with its own bath, the bed was comfortable and even your own personal fire place. Neil Murray
