Another Virginia Intimate Wedding at Shady Acres Bed and Breakfast, Gail Olberg Officiating
Please join me in Congratulating my most recent Bride and Groom, Salange “Sandy” Sandell and Ronald Jones!
Sandy and Ron were united in marriage in an intimate, double ring, ceremony held at Shady Acres Bed and Breakfast at four o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, June 25, 2017. The day was graced with beautiful weather. The Ceremony included two of the couples favorite songs; “You had me at hello, by Kenny Chesney and Endless Love, by Lionel Richie and Shania Twain.”
In recognition of their Native American Indian heritage, Turquoise was the couples color. The couple, and their Officiant, all wore stones of turquoise and the couple also incorporated the color in their sand ceremony.
Turquoise – Represents open communication from and between the heart and the spoken word, underlying holiness and unity of the universe. It is one of the oldest protection amulets and also known as a symbol of wealth in many ancient cultures.
Mr. and Mrs. Jones lives and hearts were joined in marriage by Gail Olberg, Virginia Marriage Commissioner and owner of Shady Acres Bed and Breakfast in Hanover, Virginia.
